My artwork and designs are well suited for wall accessories, tableware, textiles, and furniture using vibrant color, patterns, and motifs that are like cultural stories of my travels – from the sunny hot flavors and musical spirit of Jamaica, my island home in the Caribbean, to my adopted home in a seaside town in Italy where the food, art, history, and tradition melt under the pink light of the Tuscan sun.
I studied design and decorative finishes in NYC, have done decorative painting/murals in Miami, and work out of studios in the US, Jamaica & Italy. My art ranges from canvas painting, and sculptural pieces using recycled furniture and I apply my design motifs to textiles to manufacture soft furnishings.
