I am a visual artist who works with acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media, as well as a
crafter who loves bold colors and both visual and tactile textures. I create paintings, handmade greeting cards, and portraits, and I also teach and inspire others to tap into their own inner artist.

I’ve always been a teacher and a creative, but I haven’t always been a practicing artist. I set my artistic passions aside when life’s demands—raising a family and teaching students with visual impairments—took priority.

Originally from Detroit, Michigan, I have lived and raised my family in the Atlanta area for the past 40 years. My interest in creating has been lifelong; I even minored in Art in
college and have explored a wide range of crafts over the years. For many summers, I taught arts and crafts to children of all ages at camps.

Over the last eight years, I have been blessed to fully embrace “My Inner Artist”—a
journey that inspired the name of my art business. My work is inspired by nature, faith,
and family. As a Christian, I am mindful of where my gifts and talents come from, and one of my greatest goals is to encourage and inspire others on their own creative journeys.
